Training Course – KA153

Eco Missions 2

About the project

Associazione Spazio Etneo is proud to have taken part as a partner in the training course “Eco Missions 2”, organized by the Bulgarian organization “Youth Development Center-Mutual Aid” (YDCMA) 🇧🇬. This initiative, developed in collaboration with five partner countries under the Erasmus+ Programme – Key Action 1, focused on the theme of sustainability.

📅 The training took place from 14 to 23 June 2025, in Srednogorovo, Bulgaria, bringing together youth workers from across Europe to reflect on sustainability, ecological awareness, and the role of youth work in promoting greener lifestyles and environmental responsibility.

🇮🇹 We are proud of our Italian delegates – Giulia e Gabriele – who took part with enthusiasm, openness, and a strong commitment to building a more sustainable future. Throughout the week, they explored topics such as climate change, zero waste practices, and sustainable consumption — learning how to integrate eco-friendly habits into both their personal lives and professional work with young people. They also had the chance to share Italian traditions during the intercultural evening, celebrating cultural diversity while reinforcing connections with participants from all over Europe.

🌱 The course was based on non-formal education methodologies, including hands-on workshops, outdoor activities, group reflections, and creative challenges. These approaches empowered participants to rethink their daily choices, understand the impact of human actions on the planet, and discover practical ways to reduce their environmental footprint. Surrounded by nature, the group experienced the importance of reconnecting with the Earth, fostering mindful living, and becoming agents of positive ecological change.
