S.O.S. IV

Associazione Spazio Etneo proudly participated as a partner in the Training Course “S.O.S. IV”, hosted by the organization “Youth Development Center-Mutual Aid” (YDCMA) 🇧🇬 from 12 to 22 June 2026 in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria under the Erasmus+ programme initiavie KA1.

🩺 Youth work often means taking responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of young people. The project was created to equip youth workers with practical competences in first aid, risk prevention, emergency response, and crisis management, enabling them to confidently deal with unexpected situations during youth activities and international mobilities.

🇮🇹 Our youth workers Giorgia and Susanna collaborated with colleagues from across Europe, sharing good practices and developing new tools to improve participant protection, risk awareness, and organisational preparedness in Erasmus+ projects and other youth initiatives.

🌍 Throughout the training, participants exchanged experiences, learned from expert trainers, and tested real-life scenarios using non-formal education methodologies. The programme encouraged international cooperation while strengthening participants’ ability to identify risks, react effectively during emergencies, and promote a stronger culture of safety within their own organisations.
