YOUTH EXCHANGE – KA152

Ecology as a Lifestyle

About the project

Associazione Spazio Etneo is proud to have taken part as a partner in the youth exchange “Ecology as a Lifestyle – Youth for a Sustainable Futures”, organized by the Bulgarian organization “Youth Development Center-Mutual Aid” (YDCMA) 🇧🇬 . This initiative, developed in collaboration with five partner countries under the Erasmus+ Programme – Key Action 1, focused on the theme of Sustainability

📢 From 29 September to 6 October 2025, the Exchange took place in Pamporovo, Bulgaria , one of the most scenic areas of the Rhodope Mountains. The project was hosted at the Pine Hills complex and brought together young participants from across Europe to explore sustainability and eco-friendly living.

🌿 The exchange offered participants the opportunity to reflect on current environmental challenges and to discover practical ways to adopt a more ecological lifestyle. Through creative workshops, hands-on activities and outdoor experiences, young people explored themes such as reducing waste, sustainable consumption, zero-waste habits, minimalism and upcycling .

👥 A total of 36 participants (6 per country) joined the project, engaging in an intercultural environment that encouraged cooperation, reflection and the exchange of good practices on sustainable living. By sharing ideas and cultural perspectives, they explored how individual daily actions can contribute to environmental protection and community wellbeing.

🇮🇹 The Italian group took part with great motivation and curiosity, contributing actively to eco-creative workshops and group activities. During the intercultural evening, they shared Italian traditions and tastes, helping to create a warm and collaborative atmosphere throughout the exchange.
