Feel to Connect:
EQ for Inclusion

Associazione Spazio Etneo is proud to have taken part as a partner in the youth exchange “Feel to Connect: EQ for Inclusion” took place in Eger, Hungary 🇭🇺. The project was organized by Square of Youth Association (SOYA) in collaboration with other partner from Europe.

💬 The project focused on emotional intelligence (EQ) as a key tool for promoting inclusion, empathy, and cooperation in intercultural contexts. Through a structured learning journey, participants explored how to recognize, understand, and manage emotions, strengthening social and relational skills.

👥 The exchange brought together 32 young people from four European countries creating a safe and stimulating space for dialogue, mutual learning, and personal growth. Intercultural exchange and teamwork supported the development of meaningful connections and a deeper appreciation of diversity.

🇮🇹 The Italian group participated with enthusiasm and active engagement, contributing to workshops, creative activities, and reflection moments. Throughout the week, Italian participants shared ideas, experiences, and traditions, reinforcing a sense of European belonging and collaboration with peers from different backgrounds.

🎬 The activities were based on non-formal education methodologies, including team-building games, creative workshops, self-reflection exercises, experiential learning activities, and DIY sessions. These approaches supported the development of soft skills such as empathy, communication, teamwork, and emotional awareness, concluding with the Youthpass certificate ceremony.
