About the project
Associazione Spazio Etneo is proud to have participated as a partner in the Training Course “Youth Goals for Developing Youth Workers’ Efficiency” coordinated by the organization NECI Cyprus under the Erasmus+ programme initiavie KA1, which took place from 22 to 30 January 2026 in Paralimni, Cyprus 🇨🇾.
🎯 The project aimed to strengthen the professional capacity of youth workers across Europe by equipping them with knowledge, tools, and methodologies aligned with the EU Youth Goals framework. Recognizing the crucial role of youth workers in supporting young people, the training focused on enhancing efficiency, inclusion practices, and intercultural learning.
🇮🇹 Our youth workers Maria e Noemi joined with strong motivation and through collaborative sessions and non-formal learning activities, participants developed new strategies to increase the impact of their work within local communities.
💡 The training was structured around non-formal education methodologies, peer learning, practical workshops, and the creation of youth-oriented activities connected to the Youth Goals. The programme concluded with reflection sessions and the delivery of the Youthpass certificates, recognizing participants’ learning outcomes.
Main Objectives
1) International cooperation between experienced and not experienced Organisations and individuals but also between target group, youths and youthworkers who aim for eliminating discrimination and marginalisation through social inclusion practice.
2)There are many youths in our community who do not have motivation to know (more) about their rights and the opportunities they may have as EU citizens, but also about the Youth Goals which are priority for EC and Youth Organisations.
3) We aim to develop projects to leave an efficient impact for the next Erasmus period on the topic of European identity and intercultural learning.
